Program Highlights for October

Where have all the flowers gone? Autumn is officially here and our activities department is working in high gear with plans for upcoming events. We hope that you will join us if you can. We truly appreciate your support and involvement so we can continue to bring quality programs to the folks here at John Clarke Nursing and Retirement Center. Here are just a few to mark on your calendar for OCTOBER.

Friday, October 3^rd - OCTOBERFEST 6-7:30PM
Please come and join us for good food, drink and music German Style.
All families and friends are welcome!
Sunday, October 5^th – Community Baptist Church Choir Concert 2pm
Our MDR will be filled with the sound of music as our friends from the Baptist Church some to share an afternoon with us. Won’t you also come? We would love to see you there!
Thursday, October 9^th- Bill and Rich Sing-a-Long 2pm
They’re baaaack! A familiar favorite to the residents at JCNC. This duo offers a mixed bag of tunes including some oldies but goodies.
Tuesday, October 14^th - Lunch and shopping trip to Walmart 11AM

Hmmm… do you have a few items you need to pick up? Today’s the day so put on a comfy pair of shoes and let’s go shopping.

Saturday, October 18^th JCNC YARD SALE 9am-1pm
Does your car sit in the driveway because the garage is full? When was the last time you visited your attic? Well, stop procrastinating ‘cause we are looking for donations of furniture, knickknacks or items that you simply do not use anymore for our upcoming yard sale. Proceeds to go toward the residents activity fund.
Saturday, October 18^thFAMILY SOCIAL 2PM

Following the yard sale join us for cake and punch as we honor our resident of the month Ms. Pat Scheibl and enjoy the music of Peter Philipi.

Monday, October 20^{th -}The Dawn Tones Chorus
Join us for a musical program sure to please everyone!
Friday, October 31^st - MONSTER MASH PARTY - 2pm

It’s the annual JCNC Halloween Costume Party. Dress up and come on down for this Freaky Friday filled with food, drink and fun complete with entertainment by the bandits.
