The 50 modern apartments in the two-level section feature living room, bedroom, full bath and all-electric kitchens.   A wall connection in the living room is connected to the Master Antenna System. There is also a connector for cable television (cable fees are the responsibility of the tenant).

View Fees and Services

Activities   

A Director of Activities is on staff for 20 hours per week. Special programs, activities, and trips are scheduled according to tenants' particular interests. An Activities Calendar is prepared each month listing all activities and scheduled times. Residents are invited to attend any and all activities they wish. Twice weekly the Activities Director provides transportation to shopping via our handicapped-accessible van. Stops of interest include the post office, banks, pharmacies, and the grocery store.

Meals

Our delicious meals are served in the Retirement Center Dining Room, next to the Nursing Center Main Dining Room. Tenants may also have a tray delivered to their apartments for a nominal fee.

Other Features

A game room, library, exercise room, screened porch and sewing room are available for the tenants' use. A  daily newspaper is available in the Reading Room for all  tenants to read.

The Nursing Program

A Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is on duty at the JCRC apartments Monday thru Friday, 7 am to 3 pm to provide general nursing care such as blood pressure monitoring, answering general health questions, and assistance in obtaining in-home care.   The Nurse is also available for emergency calls and responds immediately to assess the situation and take appropriate action.

The Nurse is also available to assist with whirlpool baths for those residents who have limited mobility, balance problems, poor circulation, or arthritic discomfort.
